Media4Kids 2018 Year In Review

Happy 2019! Before we share with you some of the highlights from 2018 we wanted to thank you for playing your part in helping us reach vulnerable children around the world this past year. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! Last year 13 M4KI libraries – a total of 624 DVDs and 39 books – went out to orphanages and orphan children’s ministries across the globe, as far away as Sierra Leon, Kenya, and Colombia.

The Never Alone book was completed both in English and in Spanish. This powerful collection of God’s promises for children, filled with beautifully illustrated Biblical promises of help, comfort, supply, and God’s presence, is now available online for purchase for your children’s outreach ministries.

The M4KI staff attended the Christian Alliance For Orphan Summit (CAFO) where global orphan ministries were able to learn about the mission of M4KI, with some taking M4KI libraries back to their home countries, ranging from South America to Africa.

For a second year in a row, Herald Entertainment, one of the creators of the DVDs in the M4KI library, received the children of the SOS Village Orphanage in Costa Rica for a local outreach Christmas event. The animators were excited to share with the children on a more personal level by bringing the children to the studio, mentoring them and celebrating Christmas together. The Herald Entertainment staff both in Costa Rica and the U.S. donated many needed items to the orphanage such as a washing machine, kitchen electronics, etc. It was a beautiful day of rejoicing and gratitude.

We have been very encouraged to receive beautiful, heartfelt testimonies from the various ministries across the globe of the wonderful effect the DVDs have had on the children and caregivers. Thank you for sending in your stories and photos. Please visit our FB page to read some of these stories.

We hope and pray that 2019 brings you many blessings of happiness. We want to end here by sharing a beautiful testimony of the impact that the Torchlighters DVD, The Story of Samuel Morris has had :

“God used the Samuel Morris video in a magnificent way. We showed the video to more than 20,000 kids that came to our events in India, the Middle East, Singapore, and Australia. To date this last year we have gotten confirmation that approximately 2017 kids committed their life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There are multiple reports where there was not a dry eye on the last day of VBS where Kaboo cannot leave US and to go back to Africa. We have never been part of something so special and ordained by God. Thank you for all that you guys do in reaching many children. Our prayer is that the seed that is planted in their hearts and minds will one day enable them to be missionaries in India and other parts of the world.”
